The WWE Universe has been abuzz with chatter about one of its most formidable acts lately. Despite swirling rumors of a new storyline and a potential tag team feud, Mia Yim remains unfazed and undeterred.
Formerly part of the prominent faction The O.C., which included AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson, Yim, also known as Michin, continues to hold the fort for the group.
While The Phenomenal One, Styles, has returned from a brief hiatus and is pursuing his solo endeavors, the camaraderie within The O.C. remains intact whenever they make appearances together.
With a more heelish demeanor, Styles has been making waves on the blue brand, sparking minor tensions within The O.C. Since his return, though the faction hasn’t officially disbanded, hints have been dropped suggesting a shift in dynamics.
On a recent episode of SmackDown, commentator Wade Barrett hinted that the traditional form of The O.C. might be a thing of the past.
However, there’s still hope for fans as Yim reportedly aims to reunite The O.C., although specifics remain elusive. Recently, during her entrance on SmackDown, Yim was accompanied by Gallows and Anderson, signaling solidarity within the group.
Despite the loss in her Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier to Bianca Belair, Yim maintained her sense of humor, taking to Instagram to jest about the defeat and the ongoing speculation surrounding The O.C.’s future.
In a post, she humorously referenced the support from Gallows and Anderson, likening it to having protective older siblings when you’ve eaten the last cookie. Yim’s loss to Belair follows a defeat to SmackDown newcomer Tiffany Stratton from NXT, highlighting a recent string of setbacks.
However, with her resilience and the unwavering support of her fellow O.C. members, Yim remains a force to be reckoned with in the WWE landscape.
