Ethan Ampadu has insisted that for the 2019/20 season he has no reservations over his loan move to RB Leipzig.
During the summer, the Welshman made the move to Germany to join Leipzig hoping to build up his experience and get minutes under his belt on the field.
But for the 19-year-old, the loan spell hasn’t worked out according to the plan that saw him make only three appearances in the Bundesliga this season under Julian Nagelsmann, accumulating just 78 minutes in total.

While things have not panned out as expected, Ampadu has admitted he believes he has improved in Germany during his tenure.
Mixed, to be frank. Yeah, I would say mixed, on his loan spell in Germany, the teenager told The Athletic.
Often there has been a lot of frustration; however, I have learned a lot through those frustrations which will only support me in my career later on.
I’ve not played as many games as I ‘d have liked to but in the games, I’ve played in, I think I’ve done reasonably well. That’ll give me trust, but I’ve things to learn from.
If I’m frank it wasn’t as good as I thought it would have been, not what I wanted it to be. But I hope that I have improved technically and that, tactically, I have now played under another boss. And I’ve heard another football style and how another boss feels they can play football.
I would have preferred to stay with Chelsea, of course, but this was the best decision for me for this season and I stick to that.
I don’t regret coming out and have these experiences here.
