Changes Team India Will Make For 3rd Test Against Australia
Team India will be playing the 3rd Test against Australia soon and here's the changes that the management may make.

Team India is currently preparing for their 3rd test against Australia of the Vodafone Test Series. They began their tour of Australia in the last week of November that began with the Dettol ODI Series. However, they were unable to give their best performance and hence, lost the series. But, this did not stop them as they then went on to win the Dettol T20I Series. As a result, both the teams had now won a series each. Consequently, it was now time for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy i.e. the Vodafone Test Series. The series got a terrific start as the hosts crushed the visitors in the first test i.e. the Day-Night pink ball match at the Adelaide Oval. India registered their lowest ever test innings total of 36-9 declared in the second innings. As a result, Australia won the first test match to take a 1-0 lead in the series.

However, Team India did not give up after that. Despite the absence of Virat Kohli and Mohammed Shami in the 2nd test match, they won the match to make a historic comeback. They got Australia all-out at a total of 200 or less in both the innings. After that, with the help of Ajinkya Rahane, Ravindra Jadeja, and Shubman Gill, they won the second test match. Therefore, the series is now tied at 1-1. Consequently, both the teams are now looking forward to the next match. The team that wins the match at the SCG will get an edge over the other in the series. So, everyone is looking forward to it.

T. Natarajan to replace Umesh Yadav:

In the 2nd test match, Umesh Yadav got injured while bowling on the 3rd day in the 2nd innings. Consequently, the player is undergoing treatment right now. Yadav felt a strain in his left calf muscle and hence, KL Rahul came on as a substitute for him during the match. Later on, news came that Yadav will be unable to rejoin the team before the final two tests, As a result, he was ruled out of the squad. So, the management has decided to include Thangarasu Natarajan in the test squad. In the first match, Shardul Thakur was added to the squad after Mohammed Shami got injured. Consequently, it will now be interesting that which player will get a chance in the 3rd test match.

Rohit Sharma to take over as Vice-Captain instead of Cheteshwar Pujara:

After Virat Kohli’s return to India, Ajinkya Rahane was appointed as the captain. As a result, Cheteshwar Pujara took over as the vice-captain. However, now that Rohit Sharma has joined the Team India squad, there are reports that he will be taking over as the captain from the 3rd test match. This means that Rohit Sharma will definitely be a part of the playing 11 for the next match. Now, it will be interesting to see whether Rohit replaces Mayank Agarwal or Hanuma Vihari from the previous playing 11. So, every fan will now be excited to see how things turn out with the following changes. Anyhow, the 3rd test match between India and Australia will be beginning at the Sydney Cricket Ground on 7th January, 2020.
