Faf Du Plessis And Shane Watson's Partnership Leads Chennai Super Kings To Their Second Win Of IPL
Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis guided Chennai Super Kings to their 2nd victory of IPL.

Chennai Super Kings have not achieved the best start to this season of the IPL. They lost three games out of 4 this season. Even though they started their season with a win against the defending champions Mumbai Indians, they lost their next three matches, which were against Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, and Sunrisers Hyderabad, respectively. After losing to Rajasthan and Delhi, Chennai had a big rest in between, and fans expected a strong return. Even after the team’s starting line-up started improving after the arrival of Bravo, Thakur, and Rayudu, they still lost to Hyderabad.

It was one of the worst matches that the Chennai fans had ever witnessed. Shane Watson again went off early. All the pressure was on Dhoni, but even the skipper was not able to save the team. It was time to move on from the past and look forward to their next game, which was against Kings XI Punjab, who was also having a very bad season. Even they had won only 1/4 matches that they had played. This match was very important for both the teams as whoever was going to lose; it was going to be very hard for them to catch up again.
