Khabiv Nurmagomedov or The Eagle was born on 20 September 1988 in Dagestan, Russia. As a child, he was always into a lot of sports, especially football. He wanted to make a name for himself as a sportsman. His father and the family were into wrestling. From a very young age, his father taught him how to wrestle, and later as well he stayed his coach till the time of his death. His early career started in Moscow, where he started fighting professionally. He remained unbeaten there as well, beating all his three opponents. In 2011, he signed for the UFC on a multi-fight contract. Very slowly he started making a name for himself even though he was not very popular.
He was on a run before he faced Conor McGregor in 2018. He fought many great fighters like Edson Barboza, Michale Johnson, and Iaquinta. In all these fights Khabib completely dominated the fighters in ground and pound. No fighter seemed to be giving him any sort of competition.
