The youngest boxer to win a heavyweight title Mike Tyson was is considered of the best boxers of all time. He retired from boxing years ago in 2006 but it looks like he will be back soon for an eight-round exhibition match. Let’s find out more.

Mike Tyson was the undisputed world heavyweight champion from 1987 to 1990 and was also the 1st heavyweight to boxer to simultaneously hold the WBAWBC, and IBF titles. Tyson was known for his intimidating boxing style as he won his first 19 professional fights via knockouts. 

He was also infamous for his controversial behavior outside the ring and was in prison for 3 years after he was convicted of rape. He retired in 2006 after back to back losses.

 However, it looks like he will be back for an eight-round exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. on September 12.

We have seen many clips of Tyson getting back to training again on his social media handles over the last few months and fans were expecting something will happen soon and recently he released a trailer featuring him and another legendary boxer Roy Jones Jr. who he will be facing on September 12 at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson, California

The match will be an exhibition match which means they won’t be after each other’s head and the match will be more about the showcase of their skills. There will also be a 10 part documentary series released before the event. The 51-year old Jones hasn’t officially retired yet but he hasn’t boxed since February 2018 so this might be his last match before he announces his retirement. 

The undercard for the match will have former NBA player Nate Robinson and YouTuber Jake Paul as it was announced by Shams Charania who shared both of their statement on twitter about the match. We also saw Tyson introduce his new venture which he named Legends Only League and it aims to bring back the legends of all sports.

 Although no specific explanation was given, we can be sure that this event will be on that will be written down in the history books.
