Cedric Mullins chipped in with a two-run triple, part of Baltimore’s five-run fourth inning against Boston’s Cooper Criswell (2-2), helping the Orioles extend their winning streak to five games.

Stowers expressed his joy about his standout performance, emphasizing the team’s win and the significance of his individual achievement. Cole Irvin (5-2) pitched five shutout innings after returning to the rotation due to injuries to John Means and Dean Kremer.

Criswell struggled, giving up seven runs, six earned, in four innings. Manager Alex Cora acknowledged Baltimore’s effective hitting, noting the Orioles’ ability to capitalize on certain pitches.

Stowers expressed feeling more comfortable and confident, highlighting his gratitude for the opportunity to play.
