The Cincinnati Reds versus Atlanta Braves matchup has been postponed due to rain, with a doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday

The Cincinnati Reds versus Atlanta Braves game on Tuesday night was canceled due to rain.

Both teams will make up the game with a doubleheader on Wednesday at Truist Park. The first game will start at 12:20 p.m., followed by the second game at 6:05 p.m.

In the opener, Reds’ right-hander Frankie Montas (4-8, 4.85 ERA) will pitch against Braves’ right-hander Allan Winans (0-1, 10.80 ERA), who will be called up from Triple-A Gwinnett for his second start of the season.

In the nightcap, Braves’ All-Star Chris Sale (13-3, 2.70 ERA), originally slated for Tuesday, will take on Cincinnati’s Nick Martinez (3-5, 3.88 ERA).

The Reds, making their only visit to Atlanta this season, won the series opener 4-1 on Monday night behind a strong performance from All-Star pitcher Hunter Greene, who threw seven shutout innings.
