Following are the steps involved into defining seeding games matchup and it has already started from March 11th, 2020:
– The matchups will be chosen chronologically, expect:
1. A matchup featured a non-participating team.
2. A matchup resulted in either team in the matchup exceeding eight total games.
3. A matchup prevented any participating team from having eight feasible matchups.
– Matchup Balancing:
1. There were be 8 instances, where the chronologically matched teams, need to play 2 more remainders of regular-season games from being included as seeding game, and instances of repeat matchups as seeding games were removed wherever possible.
The NBA seeding games will end on the 14th or 15th of Aug, 2020. However, if a play-in is required to determine the 8th Playoff seed, it will be scheduled for “Aug, 14th, and 15th” or “Aug, 16th and 17th” as per the sources.
The first round of playoffs will begin on 17-18th Aug 2020 as a regular-season 2020 NBA. Stay Tuned.
