Dre Greenlaw pumped up

49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw suffered an Achilles injury during the Super Bowl, and there’s no set time for his return to the field.

Greenlaw shared with Matt Maiocco of NBCSportsBayArea.com that he’ll come back “when I feel like I can go out there and I really contribute and bring everything I got.” He’s uncertain whether he’ll miss “two, three, five, six, eight or 10” games at the beginning of the season.

He plans to give his all once he’s cleared to play and is currently focused on slowly building up his strength and mobility. Greenlaw emphasized the importance of not only regaining mobility but also ensuring he has the necessary strength to support it.

While Greenlaw works on his recovery, the 49ers signed De’Vondre Campbell to bolster their linebacker corps alongside Fred Warner.
