The Patriots listed safety Jabrill Peppers as questionable to play on Sunday in their injury report on Friday, but they decided to make a call on his status before the game.

Peppers has now been ruled out due to a shoulder injury.

This decision could leave the Patriots without two safeties when they face the Dolphins. Kyle Dugger is also considered questionable to play because of an ankle injury and he did not practice at all this week.
