The Patriots will be without safety Jabrill Peppers for their game against the Dolphins on Sunday, but wide receiver Kendrick Bourne will be in the lineup for the first time this season.

Bourne was cleared to return from the physically unable to perform list this week, and Tom Pelissero from NFL Media reports that he will be activated in time for the game against Miami.

Bourne tore his ACL last season, and his return will strengthen the receiving group as the Patriots aim for their second win of the season. In 2023, he had 37 catches for 406 yards and four touchdowns in eight games.

This season, Demario Douglas, Ja’Lynn Polk, and K.J. Osborn have been the most targeted receivers by Patriots quarterbacks.

James Brown is currently a senior at Utica University, studying communications and media with a minor in sports communications. He serves as the Sports Director at WPNR 90.7 FM, the university's radio station, and aspires to be a sports broadcaster
