The Jaguars are parting ways with defensive lineman Foley Fatukasi.

Multiple reports indicate that the team is set to release Fatukasi, who signed a three-year contract with the Jaguars as a free agent before the 2022 season. During his tenure with the team, Fatukasi played in 32 games over two seasons.

While the Jaguars have not officially announced the move, they did extend birthday wishes to Fatukasi on social media as he turned 29 on Monday.

By releasing Fatukasi without a post-June 1 designation, the Jaguars will clear over $3.5 million in cap space while carrying over $9.2 million in dead money.

In his time with the Jaguars, Fatukasi amassed 48 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and four passes defensed across 30 regular season games. He also contributed five tackles and a half-sack in two playoff appearances.
