The Steelers have officially confirmed that Russell Wilson has inked his contract

The deal is now sealed—Russell Wilson officially joins the Steelers.

Following the agreement reached earlier this week, Wilson arrived at the facility to formalize the deal on Friday. The Steelers wasted no time in announcing that Wilson has signed his one-year contract.

To mark the occasion, the team shared a brief video clip of Wilson on social media.

“Hey, Steeler nation! Just put pen to paper. Excited to don the black and gold. Here we go,” Wilson exclaimed, punctuating his statement with a new Steelers-inspired slogan.

At 35 years old, Wilson comes off a season with the Denver Broncos where he completed 66.4 percent of his passes, throwing for 3,070 yards with 26 touchdowns and eight interceptions across 15 starts.

James Brown is currently a senior at Utica University, studying communications and media with a minor in sports communications. He serves as the Sports Director at WPNR 90.7 FM, the university's radio station, and aspires to be a sports broadcaster
