For the third consecutive game, Maple Leafs forward William Nylander remains sidelined at the start of the playoffs

Toronto Maple Leafs forward William Nylander missed his third consecutive game at the start of the playoffs on Wednesday night due to an undisclosed injury.

Rookie forward Nick Robertson filled in for Nylander in the lineup against the Boston Bruins, as the series stood at 1-1.

Nylander played in all 82 regular-season games, scoring 40 goals for the second consecutive season and setting a career-high with 58 assists.
