Brown Jr. committed to play college football at the University of Oklahoma. As a freshman, he started all 13 games at left tackle and was named a Freshman All-American. He started the next three seasons at left tackle for the Sooners, earning All-Big 12 honors in each of his four seasons. He declared for the 2018 NFL Draft following his senior season.
