IPL 2022: Ravindra Jadeja bows down to MS Dhoni

Sports Al Dente

MS Dhoni went back in time to play finisher once again, scoring 16 runs in the final four balls of the match to lead Chennai Super Kings to win over Mumbai Indians on Thursday.

It was the reigning champs' second victory in this year's competition.

CSK were struggling to catch pace with the needed run rate when Dhoni stepped in to bat, but his 13-ball-28 was enough to get them the final delivery of the match.

The CSK players have come out to shake hands with the opponents at the end of the game, and leader Ravindra Jadeja bent down to Dhoni with his cap in his hand as a token of respect.

After the encounter, Ambati Rayudu was seen talking to Dhoni with folded hands, directly behind Jadeja.

Dhoni and Dwayne Pretorius had an effective combination, and Dhoni closed the match with a six and two boundaries off the last four balls of Jaydev Unadkat's 20th over.

He(Dhoni) is the master at finishing. Did it again tonight.
