The antics of Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant during the dramatic final over of the DC versus RR match resulted in a Code Of Conduct Breach fine.
After the on-field umpires denied no-balls in the DC vs RR match, DC skipper Rishabh Pant asked on-field batsmen to walk back to the dugout.
Rishabh Pant has been penalised 100% of his match money for breaking the IPL Code of Conduct during the team's play at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, according to an IPL statement.
Shardul Thakur has also received a fine of 50% of his match money.
For violating the Code of Conduct, assistant coach Pravin Amre has been penalised 100% of his match fee.
Amre was also given a one-match suspension.
DC skipper Rishabh Pant, on the other hand, was dissatisfied with the decision and motioned for both batsmen at the crease, Powell and Kuldeep Yadav, to come out.
The match was halted to address the problem, and when it resumed after a long break, DC fell short of the goal, giving RR the victory in the nail-biting battle.
