Carlos Alcaraz is showing tremendous improvement with each passing round and his third-round match displayed a lot of that. He was in complete control of the situation and won the match with ease. The Italian managed to defeat the American, who won his second-round encounter against Andy Murray.

Novak Djokovic played the third round against his countryman Miomir Kecmanović. The audience expected a little more competition from the #25 but it wasn’t meant to be. Novak was just too good and dominated the match. From the word go Novak was superior. The first set came and went like a wind with Djokovic’s terrific display of tennis. The second set followed a pretty similar story. Novak was all over Kecmanovic and won the set 6-3. In the third, Kecmanovic showed a little bit of fight but it was too late for a comeback. Djokovic wrapped up the match 6-0, 6-3, 6-4.

Sinner Vs Isner

J. Sinner vs Isner was certain to be an exciting clash but it turned out to be a one-sided affair. Even though the scores of the first two sets look very close, we could still see who was playing better. Sinner definitely had the upper hand in the match. He won the set the first set 6-4. The second set was an intense one that went to tie-breaks. Sinner won the second set 7-6. The third was more similar to the first set as Sinner took the match 6-4, 7-6, 6-3. Even though Isner lost, he made a record of hitting the most aces in a match.
