NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers expressed significant interest in a potential age-reversal technology during his appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast.

The discussion initially centered around the efficacy of hyperbaric chambers for injury rehabilitation, with Rodgers affirming their benefits. However, Rogan captured Rodgers’ attention by mentioning research conducted in Israel regarding telomere lengthening.

Telomeres, protective caps on chromosomes, naturally shorten with age and are associated with cellular aging and various health conditions. The Israeli research reportedly involved a 90-day protocol with 60 hyperbaric chamber sessions, resulting in telomere elongation suggesting a biological age decrease equivalent to 20 years.

Rogan elaborated on the study:

“There was some research…where they put people on this protocol…and it showed their telomere length increased, which was consistent to a change in age, a biological age of 20 years.”

In response, Rodgers expressed his intrigue, stating:

“20? Yeah, I’m going to jump in that thing.”
