The San Francisco 49ers have bolstered their defensive line in NFL free agency with the addition of Jordan Elliott.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the 49ers have inked Elliott to a two-year deal worth $10 million. This move comes as the team seeks to fortify its interior defensive presence.
Elliott’s agent, Malki Kawa, seemingly confirmed the agreement with a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Having spent the initial four years of his professional journey with the Cleveland Browns, Elliott was drafted at No. 88 overall in the 2020 NFL Draft. Over the course of his career, the 26-year-old has participated in 66 NFL games, securing 31 starts in the regular season, particularly notable over the past two seasons.
In the previous season, Elliott showcased his prowess on the field, notching 2.5 sacks, three tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits across 466 snaps. His contributions were instrumental in anchoring the Browns’ defense, which concluded the 2023 campaign as the top-ranked unit in the NFL.
With the departures of Arik Armstead and Javon Kinlaw reportedly looming, the addition of Elliott presents the 49ers with a reliable and seasoned option alongside Javon Hargrave.
