Nick Aldis has been at odds with The Bloodline’s leader ever since Roman Reigns attempted to assert his dominance over him. The tension between them is palpable, and it’s clear that there’s a shift in power dynamics.
Aldis took action against Roman Reigns by booking him in a Fatal Four-Way match at the Royal Rumble, following The Bloodline’s interference in a number one contender match. During the Royal Rumble, Solo Sikoa intervened to aid Reigns, assaulting the other competitors.
This move hasn’t sat well with Nick Aldis, and he’s contemplating taking action against The Enforcer. Options on the table include banning Sikoa from appearing on SmackDown or arranging a rematch for Reigns with the stipulation of banning Sikoa from ringside.
Regardless, The Bloodline will need to exercise caution in their actions on SmackDown. While they were accustomed to Adam Pearce granting them free rein to dominate, the blue brand’s new General Manager won’t tolerate the same behavior.
Furthermore, Nick Aldis hinted at signing a replacement for Brock Lesnar on SmackDown. During a segment on WWE RAW, Aldis expressed regret that Adam Pearce secured Andrade’s signature for the red brand.
Later, Aldis revealed to Pearce on the phone that he had secured Bron Breakker as a potential addition to the SmackDown roster. Breakker’s inclusion could shake things up for the superstars on the blue brand, so they’ll need to stay vigilant.
