WWE icon John Cena recently gave a nod to a rising 26-year-old talent following the latest episode of Monday Night RAW.
Cena, known as the Leader of Cenation, had his last appearance in a match against Solo Sikoa from The Bloodline at the 2023 Crown Jewel Premium Live Event. Since then, he has hinted at his impending retirement, expressing his desire to retire before reaching the age of 50.
Fans have been speculating about Cena’s final match, with many hoping for a showdown with his longtime rival, Randy Orton. Despite being 46 years old, Cena has been generous in putting over younger talent, as seen in his recent matches against Austin Theory and Sikoa.
Now, it seems that Dominik Mysterio, a member of The Judgment Day, could be the next rising star to receive recognition from Cena. On Instagram, Cena shared a photo of Dominik delivering a promo on Monday Night RAW.
Dominik, who was initially set to face Brock Lesnar at Elimination Chamber 2024 after eliminating him at the Royal Rumble, saw plans change due to Lesnar’s involvement in Vince McMahon’s lawsuit.
Cena’s acknowledgment of Dominik Mysterio on social media could hint at a potential clash between the two on the Road to WrestleMania.
