Joe Pyfer recently garnered attention for surpassing a record previously held by Francis Ngannou.
During an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, Pyfer showcased a video of himself exceeding Ngannou’s record PowerKube punch of 129,161 units.
In a remarkable display, ‘Bodybagz’ achieved a punch of 170,218 units after just four attempts, indicating that he delivers blows approximately 31.7% harder than the former UFC heavyweight champion.
Despite this impressive feat, Pyfer expressed frustration during UFC Fight Night 236 media day, highlighting officials’ failure to acknowledge his record-breaking achievement.
He also mentioned that he could have delivered even stronger blows, but his attempts were hindered by the use of 16-ounce gloves. Pyfer stated:
“This sh*t pisses me off. I hit the f*cking machine with the same 16-ounce glove. For all those nerds out there who don’t understand science, using a 16-ounce glove means I couldn’t hit it as hard as I could because of the big pad.”
Pyfer further remarked:
“Sh*t pisses me off, bro. F*ck those nerds who told me I didn’t achieve that f*cking score. I’ll do it again, and just to add, I had a torn rotator cuff when I hit it, and then I had to stop because I hurt myself.”
