Sunderland forward Jobe Bellingham has unveiled his dream five-a-side team, featuring his brother Jude alongside two Liverpool players and Harry Kane.
The 18-year-old, who has been making waves with 34 appearances and five goals for Sunderland this season, is attracting attention from Serie A side Lazio, as per Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, who are reportedly eyeing a move for him in the upcoming transfer window.
While Real Madrid, Newcastle, and Chelsea have also shown interest in Jobe in the past, his immediate future seems to be with Sunderland. In an interview with YouTube channel That’s Football, he expressed his determination to elevate the club back to the Premier League.
“On a personal note, I was aiming for 10 goal involvements at the beginning of the season, and I’m on track to achieve that,” Jobe remarked about his objectives.
When discussing his dream five-a-side team, Jobe selected Brazilian goalkeeper Alisson for the goalkeeper position, praising him as the current best in the world. Joining him in defense were Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk and Real Madrid’s Antonio Rüdiger.
In midfield, Jobe unsurprisingly chose his brother Jude, whom he hailed as “the best player in the world,” acknowledging Jude’s outstanding performances for Real Madrid this season.
Completing the lineup was Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane, with Jobe acknowledging Kane’s undeniable talent, making him a standout choice for the forward position.
Jude Bellingham, in turn, has also shown immense faith in his younger brother. Last year, he tipped Jobe as a potential contender for the 2024 Golden Boy award, alongside other promising talents like Arda Guler and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens.
