The Riyadh-based team secured a 1-0 victory over their Saudi Pro League counterparts in the first leg of the Round of 16 clash on February 14, courtesy of Ronaldo’s decisive goal in the 81st minute.
Accompanying an Instagram post featuring him on a foam roller, Ronaldo captioned it with a simple message and a sunglasses’ emoji: “Good vibes.”
Heading into the upcoming match, Ronaldo and his team carry the momentum of a recent 2-1 victory over Al Fateh in the Saudi Pro League on February 17, with the Portuguese star opening the scoring.
Ronaldo’s stellar form continues this season, boasting 26 goals and 11 assists in 27 appearances across various competitions. In the AFC Champions League, he has contributed four goals and one assist in five matches.
Despite initial concerns over his fitness during the winter break, Ronaldo has returned in excellent condition. Although he missed a highly anticipated friendly against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami on February 1 due to a muscle issue, Al Nassr secured a commanding 6-0 victory.
