Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s daughter Jaz recently reflected on her father’s memorable tennis match with Roger Federer on the world’s most treacherous court, which lacked fencing or safety boundaries.
This unique event took place during the 2005 Dubai Tennis Championships, where Federer and Agassi headlined the tournament alongside other notable players like Marat Safin and Tim Henman.
Despite the absence of some big names, the tournament director, Salah Talak, devised a promotional stunt to attract attention.
He persuaded Federer and Agassi to play a match on a grass court set up on the helipad of the iconic 5-star Burj Al-Arab hotel, towering at a staggering height of 210 meters (689 ft) above ground.
Pictures capturing this remarkable event resurfaced on social media platforms recently, prompting Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf’s daughter Jaz to share them on her Instagram story.
Jaz, a talented dancer aged 20, has garnered numerous accolades in dance competitions over the years. Meanwhile, her 22-year-old brother Jaden currently excels as a pitcher for the University of Southern California’s baseball team, the Trojans.
