Golden State’s Stephen Curry and Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama sat out Saturday night’s game due to right ankle sprains.

An MRI on Curry’s ankle showed no structural damage, and he will undergo re-evaluation on Tuesday. Chris Paul started in place of Curry.

“It’s a good result. The MRI was clear, he’s feeling better today,” said Warriors coach Steve Kerr regarding Curry’s injury.

Curry, a two-time MVP, injured his ankle late in Thursday’s game against the Chicago Bulls. This marks the fourth game he has missed this season, with Golden State losing the previous three. The Warriors have struggled without Curry in past seasons as well.

Wembanyama missed his second game after injuring his ankle in Tuesday’s loss to the Houston Rockets. He played through the injury in that game, recording 10 points, 11 rebounds, and seven blocks.

Spurs forward Cedi Osman will be sidelined for several games with a sprained left ankle, according to coach Gregg Popovich.
