Rookie Brandon Miller had his best game yet, scoring 31 points and sinking seven 3-pointers as Charlotte defeated Cleveland 118-111 on Wednesday. This win was payback for Charlotte, who had lost to Cleveland by 23 points earlier in the week.
Miles Bridges and Tre Mann also contributed to the Hornets’ victory with 17 points each, while Grant Williams added 16 points.
Vasa Micic had a double-double with 11 points and 12 assists, and Nick Richards chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Miller’s performance was exceptional, especially his crucial 3-pointer with 25 seconds remaining in the game. On the other side, Jarrett Allen led Cleveland with 24 points, and Sam Merrill contributed 17 points. Despite Allen’s efforts, Cleveland has now lost four of its last five games.
