Following Saturday’s UFC on ESPN 54 event in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the UFC awarded four fighters with post-fight bonuses, including one to a fighter making his debut in the promotion.
Ibo Aslan made a memorable entrance into the UFC, securing a $50,000 Fight of the Night bonus for his performance against Anton Turkalj. Aslan’s debut ended in a TKO victory in the third round, marking the first Turkish fighter to claim victory in the UFC. With a record of 13-1, Aslan expressed his focus on delivering knockouts in his fights.
Dennis Buzukja also walked away with a $50,000 Performance of the Night bonus after his victory over Connor Matthews. Despite having to work for it, Buzukja managed to secure a TKO finish early in the third round, improving his record to 12-4 in the UFC.
Joining Buzukja in receiving the Performance of the Night award was Nate Landwehr, who earned his bonus with a stunning first-round knockout victory over Jamall Emmers. With this win, Landwehr extended his streak of bonuses to four consecutive victories, further solidifying his presence in the UFC with a record of 18-5.
