Luka Dončić scored an impressive 47 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out seven assists, while Kyrie Irving contributed 24 points and seven assists as the Dallas Mavericks secured their seventh consecutive win, breaking the Houston Rockets’ 11-game winning streak with a 125-107 victory on Sunday night.

Doncic had an outstanding first half, scoring 32 points on 12-of-18 shooting, including hitting 6 of 10 from beyond the arc, helping the Mavs take a commanding 66-45 lead. He finished the game shooting 18 of 30 from the field, including 9 of 16 on 3-pointers, tying his career high for threes.

Dallas coach Jason Kidd praised Doncic for his exceptional performance, highlighting his ability to set the tone offensively and make tough shots. Doncic’s underhand lob shot early in the third quarter, as the shot clock was expiring, was particularly impressive.

With the win, Dallas moved into a tie with New Orleans for fifth place in the Western Conference standings. Jabari Smith Jr. led the Rockets with 28 points, but Houston struggled to contain Doncic and execute their game plan effectively, shooting 42% from the field and 13 of 38 from 3-point range.

Dallas took control early in the game, using a 23-7 run in the first quarter to build a comfortable lead. Despite Houston’s attempts to narrow the gap, the Mavericks maintained their dominance, closing out the first half with a strong run to extend their lead.
