The NHL has revealed a new partnership with Bodyarmor to be its official sports drink for several years.

Bodyarmor took over from BioSteel after BioSteel faced financial difficulties last year.

Connor McDavid, a three-time league MVP, joined Bodyarmor in early 2024 after previously being associated with BioSteel. McDavid recently achieved a milestone by recording his 100th assist in a single season.

This deal is part of the NHL’s ongoing efforts to increase its revenue, which is expected to reach around $6.2 billion. The league also announced a new attendance record with over 22.5 million fans in arenas for the season.

According to Tom Gargiulo, chief marketing officer of Bodyarmor, NHL fans are known for their strong dedication to the sport. He believes they are some of the most passionate fans in professional sports.
