The Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Clippers are facing uncertainty about when their top players will return to action. Despite this, they’re doing well in their playoff series.
Giannis Antetokounmpo from the Bucks has been out with a strained left calf since April 9, while Kawhi Leonard from the Clippers hasn’t played due to inflammation in his right knee.
Neither team has confirmed if Antetokounmpo or Leonard will play in the upcoming games. Antetokounmpo had a workout session on Sunday, but his status for Game 2 is doubtful.
Leonard, on the other hand, participated in a practice session on Monday but is listed as questionable for Game 2.
Meanwhile, the Phoenix Suns, with their star trio of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal healthy, are facing a tough challenge. They’re trying to avoid falling behind 2-0 in their series against the Minnesota Timberwolves after losing Game 1.
In Game 1, the Timberwolves won convincingly by stifling Booker, who struggled with his shooting. Booker compared the situation to last year’s playoffs, when the Suns lost the opening game but bounced back to win the series.
Booker emphasized that it’s just one game, and there’s still plenty of basketball left to play in the series.
