Sheffield United faced a tough loss against Newcastle, marking their relegation from the English Premier League. The defeat means they are now 10 points away from safety with only three games left, guaranteeing their return to the Championship league.

Despite taking an early lead through Anel Ahmedhodzic’s goal, Sheffield United struggled to keep up with Newcastle’s strong performance.

Alexander Isak scored two goals for Newcastle, bringing his total for the season to 23 across all competitions, with 19 in the league alone.

The match saw Sheffield United conceding 13 goals to Newcastle this season, following their earlier 8-0 loss in September. Although Sheffield United initially looked promising, Newcastle dominated the second half, scoring four goals in just 18 minutes.

Newcastle’s victory places them in seventh place in the league, just one point behind Manchester United in sixth, as they continue to push for European qualification.
