Paul Skenes and Olivia “Livvy” Dunne enjoyed VIP treatment on their way to Texas for the 2024 MLB All-Star Game. Dunne, an LSU gymnast, and top NIL earner, shared a photo of the couple in front of a private jet on Instagram. The photo, captioned “All-Star game bound!” with a heart hands emoji, highlighted their luxurious travel arrangements for the event.
The Pirates pitcher, who was the No. 1 overall draft pick after leading LSU to the 2023 College World Series title, seemed delighted on the private plane, joined by friends. Their trip to Texas followed a weekend in Chicago, where the Pirates secured two victories against the White Sox before the All-Star break.
During their Chicago stay, Dunne, a New Jersey native, bought Skenes a new tie from Dior for his first MLB All-Star Game, sharing the purchase in a TikTok video. She emphasized the tradition of gifting Skenes a new tie before significant events and expressed her hope that he would like it.
Dunne also celebrated Skenes’ achievements with a balloon display when he became the first player to be drafted No. 1 overall and then named to the following year’s All-Star team. She has been a constant supporter, attending his MLB debut against the Chicago Cubs on May 11.
Skenes, set to be the fifth rookie pitcher to start a Midsummer Classic, has an impressive 6-0 record with a 1.90 ERA and 0.92 WHIP over his first 11 major league starts. The 94th MLB All-Star Game is scheduled to take place at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, on Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET, and will be broadcast on Fox.
