DeMar DeRozan scored 27 points, including 11 in a strong fourth quarter, to help the Sacramento Kings beat the Toronto Raptors 122-107 on Wednesday.

Keegan Murray added 22 points and 12 rebounds, De’Aaron Fox contributed 21 points, and Domantas Sabonis recorded his 61st career triple-double—his second in just five days—finishing with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 13 assists.

RJ Barrett led the Raptors with 23 points, while Davion Mitchell scored 20. Toronto had a four-point lead going into the fourth quarter, but Sacramento outscored them 33-14 in the final period to secure the win.

DeRozan became the first player in Kings history to begin his time with the team by scoring 20 or more points in eight straight games, breaking the previous record of seven that he shared with Chris Webber.

Murray was especially active early, scoring 12 points and grabbing five rebounds in the first quarter, which featured seven ties and six lead changes.

Barrett scored 11 points in the first quarter, while Chris Boucher made all three of his 3-point attempts, helping the Raptors take a 33-30 lead after the first period.

Barrett and Boucher extended Toronto’s lead to nine points early in the second quarter, but Sabonis’ excellent playmaking (he had 10 assists in the first half) helped the Kings bounce back. Sacramento erased the deficit and led 57-54 at halftime.

Barrett made a tough, off-balance drive to give the Raptors the lead again, but Toronto struggled with its 3-point shooting, hitting only 4 of 18 in the first half.

However, they came alive in the third quarter, hitting four 3-pointers in the first five minutes and taking a 77-69 lead, with Jakob Poeltl scoring three straight baskets.

The Raptors were still up by six early in the fourth quarter, but the Kings quickly turned things around. DeRozan, Sabonis, Malik Monk, and some strong team defense sparked two big runs—a 9-0 run and an 11-2 run—to give Sacramento full control of the game.
