Damian Lillard scored 37 points and provided 12 assists to help the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Miami Heat 106-103 in an NBA Cup game on Tuesday night.

Lillard made 10 of 17 field goal attempts, including 8 of 13 from beyond the three-point line, as the Bucks won their fifth consecutive game.

Milwaukee was without star Giannis Antetokounmpo, who missed the game due to swelling in his left knee. Additionally, three-time All-Star Khris Middleton has not played this season because of surgeries on both of his ankles.

Miami, with a 1-2 record in East Group B, was led by Jimmy Butler, who scored 23 points. Tyler Herro added 18 points. Terry Rozier made his return after missing two games due to a right foot injury, finishing with 17 points on 7-of-9 shooting, including 3-for-4 from three-point range.

Rockets 117, Timberwolves 111 (OT)

Alperen Sengun recorded a triple-double to help the Houston Rockets beat the Minnesota Timberwolves in an overtime NBA Cup game in Minneapolis.

Sengun finished with 22 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds. Fred VanVleet also contributed 27 points and 11 assists for Houston, which secured the West Group A title with a 3-0 record and advanced to the quarterfinals. Dillon Brooks scored 22 points, and Jabari Smith Jr. added 19 points on 8-for-9 shooting.

Anthony Edwards led Minnesota with 29 points and 10 rebounds, but his last-second shot to win the game in regulation bounced out. Julius Randle scored 21 points, and Naz Reid contributed 19 points off the bench for the Timberwolves, who dropped to 1-2 in West Group A.

Suns 127, Lakers 100

Devin Booker scored 26 points and dished out 10 assists to help the Phoenix Suns end a five-game losing streak with a big win over the Los Angeles Lakers.

Kevin Durant and Bradley Beal each scored 23 points in their return from calf injuries. The Suns had been 1-6 without Durant and 0-5 without Beal.

Anthony Davis had 25 points, 15 rebounds, and four blocks, while LeBron James added 18 points, 10 assists, and eight rebounds for the Lakers, who lost their third consecutive game. James made two 3-pointers to move into a tie for seventh place on the all-time list with Kyle Korver (2,450 threes).

Bulls 127, Wizards 108

Coby White scored 21 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while Nikola Vucevic added 19 points and 12 rebounds, leading the Chicago Bulls to an NBA Cup victory over the Washington Wizards.

White hit five 3-pointers, and Zach LaVine made four 3-pointers as part of his 18-point performance. The Bulls dominated the second quarter, outscoring the Wizards 40-18.

Kyle Kuzma scored 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds, while rookie Alexandre Sarr added 20 points and seven boards for Washington, who suffered their 12th straight loss.

Spurs 128, Jazz 115

Victor Wembanyama scored 34 points, 24 of them in the first half, to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 128-115 victory over the Utah Jazz, earning their season-best fourth straight win in NBA Cup play.

San Antonio improved to 2-1 in West Group B, staying alive in the race for a spot in the West quarterfinals. Both the Spurs and Jazz have one group game left. Stephon Castle added 23 points to tie his career high.

Keyonte George led Utah with 26 points. John Collins and Collin Sexton each scored 20 points as the Jazz lost for the fifth time in six games and dropped to 0-3 in the group.
