Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley each scored 19 points as the Cleveland Cavaliers led from start to finish in a 118-87 win over the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night in NBA Cup play, sending the Wizards to their 15th straight loss.

Seven players scored in double figures for Cleveland, which had a lead as large as 31 and improved to an NBA-best 19-3 record. Sam Merrill and Georges Niang each added 14 points off the bench, Darius Garland contributed 12, Jarrett Allen scored 11, and Caris LeVert had 10.

Mobley also grabbed 10 rebounds for the Cavaliers, who won their 10th consecutive game against the Wizards.

Cleveland made 48.3 percent of their shots from the field (43 of 89) and 34.8 percent from beyond the arc (16 of 46). Washington was limited to 38.6 percent shooting from the field (32 of 83) and 15.4 percent from 3-point range (4 of 26).

Jordan Poole, Bub Carrington, and Jonas Valanciunas each scored 13 points for the Wizards. Jared Butler and Alex Sarr added 10 points each.

Washington is one loss away from tying its franchise record for the longest losing streak at 16 games.

The Cavaliers took an early 19-6 lead and finished the first quarter up 35-20. Washington committed eight turnovers and shot 33.3 percent (7 of 21) in the opening period.

Cleveland continued to build on their momentum in the second quarter, extending their lead to 60-38 with 1:36 left in the half.

Mobley had 13 points in the first half, helping Cleveland to a 60-42 lead at the break. Washington shot just 34.1 percent from the field and 14.3 percent (2 of 14) from 3-point range in the half.

Cleveland maintained a double-digit lead throughout the second half, and both teams rested their starters for most of the fourth quarter.

Washington played without forward Kyle Kuzma, who missed his second straight game due to a sprained left rib.

Wizards forwards Corey Kispert and Kyshawn George both left with left ankle sprains in the second quarter and did not return. Malcolm Brogdon also left in the third quarter with right knee soreness.

Cleveland forward Dean Wade returned after missing six games due to a sprained left ankle and had six rebounds in 19 minutes off the bench.
