Jason Robertson scored once and added an assist, while Wyatt Johnston and Evgenii Dadonov each scored a goal. Oskar Back collected two assists for the Stars, who ended a two-game losing streak. Goaltender Jake Oettinger made 29 saves in the win.
Jonathan Huberdeau and Connor Zary scored for the Flames, who have won only once in their last seven games. Goalie Dustin Wolf stopped 22 shots.
Dallas has a strong 11-2-0 record at home, with the best home-winning percentage in the league.
The game was tied at 2-2 when Hintz took off on a two-on-one rush, finishing a pass from Esa Lindell at 5:13 in the third period. This gave him his fifth goal in his last nine games.
Harley scored two goals 61 seconds apart in the third period, extending Dallas’ lead. He finished the game with his second goal at 19:02.
Before the third-period explosion, both teams exchanged leads. Huberdeau opened the scoring just 60 seconds into the game with a one-timer off Nazem Kadri’s pass during an odd-man rush, marking his ninth goal of the season.
Johnston answered at 4:26 of the first period, scoring a short-handed goal after taking advantage of a turnover at the Calgary blue line. He avoided a couple of defenders and fired a shot for his sixth goal of the season.
Robertson put the Stars ahead 2-1 at 7:47 of the second period, scoring his sixth goal of the season after holding off a defender during a two-on-one rush.
However, Zary tied the game at 16:08 of the second period, scoring on a rebound for his sixth goal of the season.
The Flames have set a franchise record with 25 games without scoring more than three goals in regulation. They have not won a road game in eight tries and hold a 3-7-4 record away from home.
