Mikhail Sergachev scored with just 11.4 seconds left in overtime to give the Utah Hockey Club a 3-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night in Salt Lake City. Utah rallied back from a two-goal deficit, scoring three unanswered goals. Sergachev scored the game-winning goal after receiving a pass from Logan Cooley during a two-on-one break, putting the puck under Thatcher Demko’s pads.
Clayton Keller scored a goal and assisted on another, while Dylan Guenther also found the back of the net for Utah, who won their third straight game. Cooley had two assists, and Karel Vejmelka made 24 saves. Utah extended their point streak to a season-high six games, with a 5-0-1 record in that stretch.
For Vancouver, Danton Heinen and Dakota Joshua scored, and Quinn Hughes added two assists. Demko stopped 28 shots. Hughes’ two assists marked his ninth multi-assist game of the season, and he leads NHL defensemen with 30 assists.
Maple Leafs 5, Stars 3
William Nylander scored two goals, and Joseph Woll made 36 saves to help Toronto defeat Dallas 5-3, giving them their fourth win in five games. Nicholas Robertson, who had a goal and an assist, faced off against his brother Jason, with their parents in attendance. Max Domi and Bobby McMann also scored for Toronto, who won despite being outshot 39-19.
For Dallas, Evgenii Dadonov scored a goal and added an assist, while Sam Steel and Colin Blackwell also found the net. Jake Oettinger allowed four goals on 12 shots before being replaced by Casey DeSmith, who made six saves.

Matthew Tkachuk scored two goals as Florida defeated Minnesota 6-1 in Saint Paul. Aaron Ekblad had a goal and two assists, and Mackie Samoskevich added a goal and an assist. Sergei Bobrovsky stopped 26 of 27 shots to improve to 15-6-1.
Marco Rossi scored Minnesota’s only goal. Wild goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury allowed six goals on 33 shots, dropping to 6-2-1.
Ducks 3, Jets 2
Troy Terry scored the game-winning goal with 26 seconds left to give Anaheim a 3-2 victory over Winnipeg. Frank Vatrano deflected a clearance attempt from Neal Pionk, and Terry capitalized on the loose puck to score. Vatrano had two goals and an assist, and Radko Gudas added two assists. Lukas Dostal stopped 21 of 23 shots for the Ducks.
Mark Scheifele and Gabriel Vilardi scored for the Jets, while Kyle Connor had two assists. Winnipeg’s Eric Comrie made 28 saves on 31 shots.
Red Wings 6, Flyers 4
Patrick Kane scored the go-ahead goal at 7:22 of the third period, and Detroit held off Philadelphia for a 6-4 win. J.T. Compher and Lucas Raymond each had a goal and an assist, and Alex DeBrincat, Michael Rasmussen, and Joe Veleno also scored. Dylan Larkin added two assists. Detroit has won three of their last four games. Alex Lyon stopped 15 shots in his first game since Nov. 25.
For the Flyers, Travis Konecny, Noah Cates, Ryan Poehling, and Owen Tippett scored. Samuel Ersson made 18 saves. Philadelphia has gone 2-4-1 in their last seven games.
