Toni Kroos particularly stood out in midfield, contributing significantly throughout the 70 minutes he played. The 34-year-old impressively completed 62 out of his 63 passes, with an accuracy rate of 98 percent.

Bellingham took to Instagram to laud the German maestro, leaving a comment on Kroos’ post on his profile after the match, where he wrote:
