Tennis legend Rafa Nadal, a fervent supporter of Real Madrid, has voiced his opinion on the ongoing transfer saga involving Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe. In an interview with Mundo Deportivo, Nadal expressed his belief that Mbappe’s addition to the Los Blancos squad would elevate the team’s performance.
Mbappe has been a subject of transfer speculation linking him to Real Madrid for several transfer windows. Despite coming close to joining the club on a free transfer in 2022, Mbappe chose to extend his contract with PSG until June 2024, delaying his potential move to Madrid.
However, with Mbappe opting against extending his PSG contract for another year, rumors of a move to Madrid have resurfaced. As a devoted fan of Los Blancos, Nadal has weighed in on the matter, stating in an interview with Madrid Universal that he would bring Mbappe to Madrid if he had the opportunity.
Nadal expressed his sentiment, saying, “I would sign Kylian Mbappe for Real Madrid. Real Madrid have a super team, beyond the disaster of injuries this year. With Mbappe they would be even better, if I could contribute to the club in any way I would.”
Meanwhile, Mbappe continues to deliver stellar performances for Paris Saint-Germain this season, accumulating a total of 31 goals and seven assists across all competitions. As reported by The Athletic, Mbappe is poised to depart PSG as a free agent in the summer, potentially paving the way for a move to Madrid.
