James Harden is set to release his eighth signature sneakers with Adidas this week. The Adidas Harden Vol. 8, featuring its inaugural colorway dubbed ‘Sculpt,’ is scheduled to hit the market at 3:00 a.m. EST on Friday, February 23.

As a prominent figure in the Los Angeles Clippers, Harden boasts an extensive collection of sneakers. Adidas Basketball’s official Twitter account shared a detailed video explaining the design concept and functionality of the Vol. 8.

The video showcases an internal cuff designed to offer a snug fit, enhancing both comfort and performance on and off the court.

Jalal Enayah, Senior Designer for Adidas Basketball, articulated the essence of the shoe in a caption accompanying the Twitter post, stating, “The shoe has to be like him, it has to be unmistakable.”

The Vol. 8 incorporates innovative features such as an EVA cage for lateral support and impact protection, essential for Harden’s dynamic playing style. The full-length Jet Boost setup aids in energy conservation during gameplay.

Additionally, the sneakers boast a multi-directional ‘JH’ traction pattern, ensuring superior grip on the hardwood.

Available in adult sizes, the Adidas Harden Vol. 8 comes with a price tag of $160 and can be purchased online from the Adidas website.
