Adrian Wilson, a former NFL star with the Arizona Cardinals and executive with the Carolina Panthers, was arrested in Arizona on June 1.
The Scottsdale Police Department stated on Tuesday that he faces charges of assault, property damage, and disorderly conduct, all related to a domestic violence incident. These charges are misdemeanors, but the details of the incident leading to his arrest were not disclosed.
Wilson, aged 44, had a successful NFL career from 2001 to 2012, earning five Pro Bowl selections during his time with the Cardinals. After retiring from playing, he transitioned to the Cardinals’ front office in 2015 as a regional scout, eventually becoming the director of pro scouting in 2019.
In 2023, he moved to the Carolina Panthers as vice president of player personnel, but the team announced recently that he is no longer with the organization. The Panthers declined to provide further details, citing their policy on employee matters.
