Giannis Antetokounmpo is back playing for the Milwaukee Bucks against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday, after sitting out two games due to a left hamstring problem.

The Bucks announced that Antetokounmpo had tendinopathy in his hamstring, which usually happens when the muscle is overused and causes pain.

However, the Bucks are still missing some key players. Khris Middleton won’t be playing because he’s resting after a recent game against Boston, where he played for 33 minutes. Middleton has been managing a sprained left ankle and the team wants to ensure he doesn’t overexert himself.

Middleton had missed 16 games because of his ankle injury before returning to play against the Phoenix Suns, where the Bucks won.

Coach Doc Rivers mentioned that Middleton has been performing well since his return, and they want to maintain his current form.

It’s been a while since the Bucks had their top three players — Antetokounmpo, Middleton, and Damian Lillard, all on the court together. The last time this happened was during a win against Dallas on February 3rd.
