Barcelona will reportedly turn down all offers for their talented midfielder Gavi, despite keen interest from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), as per Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.
A product of Barcelona’s renowned La Masia academy, Gavi transitioned to the senior squad in the 2021-22 season, quickly showcasing remarkable skills and earning a regular spot in the team.
With 111 appearances for Barcelona across three seasons, Gavi has notched seven goals and provided 14 assists. Making his national debut at just 17, he has already represented Spain 27 times, finding the net five times.
Unfortunately, Gavi is currently sidelined with an anterior cruciate ligament tear sustained while playing for Spain against Georgia in November 2023. His absence is a significant setback for Barcelona’s La Liga title defense this season.
While PSG has a strong midfield with talents like Manuel Ugarte and Warren Zaire-Emery, they are reportedly eager to secure Gavi’s signature for long-term stability.
Despite interest from PSG, Manchester City, and Chelsea, Barcelona has firmly stated that Gavi is not available for transfer, emphasizing his importance to their plans.
