With NFL games on Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday this week, only nine games are on Sunday for Week 17. Some games, like Raiders vs. Saints, feature struggling teams, making traditional betting difficult. However, it’s a great week for NFL player props.
Here are the top 10 player prop picks for Sunday’s NFL games. (Odds are from FanDuel unless stated otherwise.)
Jets vs. Bills
– Breece Hall, O/U 49.5 Rushing Yards at -113/-113
Hall has gone over this number in six of his last seven games. With rain expected in Buffalo on Sunday, the Jets are likely to focus more on running the ball. The more they run, the more they can keep Josh Allen off the field. Hall ran for 113 yards against the Bills earlier this season, and the Bills have an average run defense, so Hall should go over 49.5 yards.
Take the OVER.
– James Cook, O/U 77.5 Rushing + Receiving Yards at -114/-114
The Bills have focused on the run in recent games, with Cook going over 100 yards in two straight games and three of four. With bad weather expected, it’s likely they’ll give Cook the ball early and often. Cook might go over the total just by running the ball, but if he doesn’t break a big run, he’ll make up for it with some screen passes.
Take the OVER.
Falcons vs. Commanders
– Bijan Robinson, O/U 83.5 Rushing Yards at -113/-113 – Robinson, O/U 18.5 Rushing Attempts at -132/+102
The Falcons will try to help Michael Penix Jr. by establishing the run, and Robinson should be a big part of that. He has rushed for 86 or more yards in six of his last seven games (four in a row) and had 19 or more carries in each of those games. Washington has one of the worst run defenses in the league, so Robinson should easily go over the total.
Take the OVER on both.
– Michael Penix Jr., O/U 207.5 Passing Yards at -114/-114 – Penix, O/U 29.5 Pass Attempts
The Falcons will try to protect Penix, just like they did last week against the Giants. They’ll focus on the run, with enough passing to keep Washington’s strong pass defense honest. Penix had 27 pass attempts last week. Teams are averaging 28.5 pass attempts against the Commanders this season, and 32.3 in the last three games. But the Falcons will play it safe with Penix.
Take the UNDER for both.
Dolphins vs. Browns
– Tyreek Hill, O/U 49.5 Receiving Yards at -114/-114
This hasn’t been a great year for Hill, but with the injuries Miami has faced, it’s not surprising. He averages 55.6 yards per game and has exceeded 49.5 yards in three of his last six games. The Browns’ defense gives up 157.7 yards per game to wide receivers. Other teams like the Broncos and Bengals have had wide receivers combine for 200+ yards against them.
Take the OVER.
Giants vs. Colts
– Jonathan Taylor, O/U 102.5 Rushing Yards at -115/-115 (via DraftKings) – Taylor O/U 22.5 Rushing Attempts at -110/-110 (via DraftKings)
Taylor ran for 218 yards last week against Tennessee, though 135 yards came on two long runs. Expecting similar numbers would be unrealistic, but as long as the Colts stick with the run against the Giants’ poor defense, Taylor should have a big day. He has had at least 21 carries in every game the Colts won while he was healthy this season.
Take the OVER for both.
Cowboys vs. Eagles
– Saquon Barkley, O/U 111.5 Rushing Yards at -113/-113
With Jalen Hurts out, the Eagles will likely focus on the run with Barkley to ease the pressure on their offense. Dallas has been good at stopping the run, allowing an average of 89.3 yards over the last three games, but the Eagles are at home and can lock up the division with a win. With Barkley leading the way, they should get it done.
Take the OVER.
