Bologna had a chance to win the game at the very end and secure third place in Serie A, but they were held to a 0-0 draw against Frosinone, who are fighting against relegation.
In the final moments of the match, Bologna almost scored when Dan Ndoye’s shot hit the underside of the crossbar, but the rebound was missed from close range. The game ended right after the goalkeeper kicked the ball back into play.
If Bologna had won, they could have moved ahead of Juventus in the standings. Currently, they are only three points ahead of Roma, who won against Lazio the day before. Frosinone, on the other hand, moved closer to avoiding relegation with this point.
Although Bologna had more possession, Frosinone had better chances, especially in the first half when Bologna’s goalkeeper was busier. Bologna improved in the second half but couldn’t score despite a few attempts before the final missed opportunity.
