Brad Stevens earned the NBA’s Executive of the Year title on Tuesday for his role in constructing the Boston Celtics team, which had the best record in the league during the regular season.
This is the first time Stevens has received this award. He has been serving as the president of basketball operations for the Celtics for three seasons now, following eight seasons as their coach.
The Celtics had an impressive 64-18 record in the regular season, marking it as the fourth-highest number of wins in the team’s history.
Stevens expressed his gratitude, emphasizing the collective effort of the entire Celtics organization, including the players, coaches, front office, and support staff.
He credited the team’s success to everyone’s dedication and teamwork. The Celtics are currently leading 3-1 against the Miami Heat in the playoffs.
