The disappointing end to the Eagles’ 2023 season has led many to wonder if the team will rebound in 2024 or if their problems will continue.
Quarterback Jalen Hurts’s performance will be crucial in determining the team’s future. There have been reports about issues in Hurts’s relationship with head coach Nick Sirianni and suggestions that Hurts might have been playing with an injury as the season progressed.
However, defensive end Brandon Graham believes Hurts is in a great place now.
“You can see that Jalen is getting more comfortable every day and moving even faster than he did last year,” Graham said, according to Reuben Frank of NBCSportsPhiladelphia.com.
“I think he might have been dealing with some issues last year. But you can tell he has a fresh and improved perspective on life this year. I’m excited for him because he seems excited too.”
The Eagles revamped their offensive coaching staff this offseason and signed running back Saquon Barkley to help Hurts return to his previous level of success. Graham’s comments suggest positive changes, but the regular season will show how well Hurts and the team are performing.
